What will I study?
This qualification is comprised of two sections.
Part 1
Project covering:
- The global tourism and hospitality supply chain
- The structure of the hospitality industry
- Principles of customer service in tourism and hospitality
- Ecological, cultural and other factors and their effects on the industry
- Ecological, cultural and other factors and their effects on the industry
- Ways of promoting culture through tourism and hospitality
- Compare countries involved in sustainable cultural and ecological tourism
- Job opportunities in the tourism and hospitality industry – their entry requirements and progression routes
Part 2
Subjects:
- Introduction to Travel, Tourism and Hospitality
- Introduction to Business Environment
- Introduction to Business Communication and Customer Care
- Introduction to Business and Finance

12 months (1 year)
What is the qualification?
OTHM COMBINED CERTIFICATE IN TOURISM & HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
What are the entry requirements?
- Holders of OTHM Introductory Certificate,
- 5 GCSE’s or 5 O’Levels or equivalent
- Mature students with at least 5 years relevant experience
- Any of the above plus English Language Competency (IELT Level 5)
