OCR LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE IN ASSESSING CANDIDATES USING A RANGE OF METHODS (A1)

LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE IN ASSESSING CANDIDATES’ PERFORMANCE TROUGH OBSERVATION (A2)

Who is it for?

The two assessor awards are designed to meet the differing needs of people who assess competence. If they plan to assess candidates using a variety of different assessment methods then A1 is the award most suitable. If they intend to assess candidates through observation in the work place, then A2 is recommended.

What will I study?

The course entails the planning of a programme of development and assessment with their assessor and the compilation of a portfolio of evidence to show that they are competent and have adequate knowledge in their work role. It is designed to give the candidate skills and abilities to assess NVQ programmes using a range of methods including observation.
