HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE NVQ LEVEL 3

Who is it for?

Candidates with Health and Social Care NVQ Level 2 or Equivalent qualification would normally progress onto the level 3 program.

The level 3 qualification is aimed at individuals who often work without direct supervision or on their own, perhaps in a user's own home.

What will I study?

Candidates need to complete four mandatory units and a minimum of four optional units to gain the full qualification.

Mandatory Units:

• Promote effective communication for and about individuals
• Promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the working environment
• Reflect on and develop your practice
• Promote choice, wellbeing and the protection of all individuals

How long is the course?

12 -18 months

City & Guilds NVQ Health and Social Care Level 3

What are the entry requirements?

Candidates with Health and Social Care NVQ Level 2 or Equivalent qualification can apply. Relevant work experience will be considered.
