NVQ LEVEL 2 IN HAIRDRESSING & MANAGEMENT

Who is it for?

This is level is the accepted minimum for a junior stylist.

What will I study?

This level contains seven core units, one unit of perming and relaxing and a further optional unit from a choice of five. By the completion of this course candidates will have covered:

• Client consultation
• Shampooing & conditioning hair
• Salon reception
• Basic styling and drying hair
• Basic cutting of ladies
• Basic colouring, perming and relaxing
• Support salon health & safety
• Babering option
• Shaving and face massage
• Basic Gents hair cut

How long is the course?

12 – 18 months

What is the qualification?

City & Guilds NVQ IN HAIRDRESSING LEVEL 2

What are the entry requirements?

4 GCSEs at grade C or above including Mathematics and English Language and or level 1 certification.
