Welcome! It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our website. The City of London Business College (City-LBC) has been founded to provide expert tuition in numerous academic and vocational courses that prepare students to get ahead in today’s competitive world.

As a leading private educational institution catering for both overseas and home students we are proud to have helped thousands of students achieve their further education academic, professional and vocational goals since our establishment in 1990.

Traditionally our courses have focused on the areas of Business, Health, IT and English Language studies. In response to modern industries demands for highly skilled professionals, City-LBC has expanded it’s portfolio of courses to include Access, Health and Social Care Level 4 to University Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses.

We take delivery of teaching and learning very seriously but also believe we have a responsibility, particularly to our overseas students, to ensure students pastoral and social needs are well catered for as well. This is achieved by our active welfare and social programs, examples of which include an active work placement team and excursions to Paris (2007), Dublin (2008) and Barcelona (planned June 2009).

Our college is conveniently located in Haringey, North London for your ease of access to train, tube and bus services. These excellent links means that our students benefit from our close close proximity to Central London’s many attractions (20 minutes by tube) without having to pay the associated high level travel and living costs.

Our cosmopolitan outlook is reflected in the rich cultural diversity of our student population (26+ different nationalities). We are also engaged in active partnerships with various institutions including, Local Authority, DIUS, UCAS, Work placement agencies, BAC, University of Sunderland, Resource Development International (RDI) and various examination awarding bodies amongst others. These combined factors enhance the quality of the environment at City-LBC in several respects.
