Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement - Assessors Award (also known as TAQA)

Who is it for?

Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement - (Full Award)
This qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work place (for example workshop, classroom and other training environments).

Award in Assessing Vocational Related Achievement
This qualification is intended for those who assess vocational skills knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work environment (for example a workshop, classroom, or other training environment).

Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment This qualification is intended for those who assess occupational competence in an individuals work environment.

What will I study?

There are 3 pathways the full award which is made up of the 3 units listed below a total number of 15 credits from the 3 mandatory units listed below.
The 2 other pathways are made up of 2 units from the list below with a total number of 9 credits for each pathway.

The mandatory units:

Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
Unit 2: Assess occupational competence in the work environment
Unit 3: Assess vocational skills, Knowledge and understanding

Duration:
6 months
*All evidence must be collated within and signed off within 6 months
What are the entry requirements?

The applicant must have a level 3 or above in their area of competence and have experience in training and assessing with the work environment or classroom setting

What is the fee?

£ 1000.00 - Full award (3 units)
£ 850.00 - Partial award (2 units)
24+Advance Loan is also available for level 3 training (please enquire for more details)
